Change Management

There’s nothing new about innovation….

“If I had asked the public what they wanted, they would have said a faster horse.“ – Henry Ford (1863 – 1947), Founder of Ford Motor Company

By creating the first automobile that middle-class Americans could afford, Henry Ford converted the automobile from an expensive curiosity into an accessible conveyance that profoundly impacted the landscape of the 20th century, considering him to be a revolutionary in the sector.

Henry Ford was often credited as the creator of the assembly line.  In reality, the assembly line had already been around before Ford although not in quite the same effectiveness as he would create. His real accomplishment was recognising the potential by breaking it all down into its components, only to build it back up again in a more effective and productive combination.

Incremental Innovation is the most common form of innovation. It utilises your existing model, methodology or technology and increases value to the customer (features, design changes, etc.) within your existing market.
